“This is what I’d take for a Milan city break” - For me its important when I travel to be comfortable, so I can rush around doing as many shameful touristic things as possible in one day. Hence the trousers and russell and bromleys!
I’ve entered a competition with Easyjet to win tickets to fashion week, here.
Shirt: Gina Tricot. Trousers: Cheap Monday. Shoes: Russell & Bromley. Bag: Vintage Nina Ricci. Sunglasses: ASOS. Hat: H&M. Necklace: Deptford Market.
But my oh my did I spend a lot of time trying to find an EASY, free online tool that would let me blur the background a bit so it would look like it was taken with an SLR camera. Clearly I didn’t succeed…

Yeah yeah yeah, this was also from the magazine, and actually is from an advert for hair dye. But, my god, how cool is her outfit? No longer is tie dye reserved for the lonely stoner! Aaaas demonstrated here, if paired with tailored shorts you get a pretty fancy combo.
The next two posts (this one included) demonstrate rather well my fixation to ASOS. IMAGINE WHAT THEIR WAREHOUSE IS LIKE…efijskghjliawueh. Anyway, this coat is fantastic and was featured in their magazine. The beading seems very Valentino, doesn’t it? But then paired with a slouchy bikers coat. Mmmm ❤
I love The Coveteur, and I especially love that they snapped some of Laura Freedman’s cool gear back in July. Her Broken English jewelry line has some brilliant gold and matte gem stone necklaces and rings. Mmmm, one day, one day!!!
Left: Clarks Onslow Beat Ankle Strap Platforms, £37 at Very. Right: Chilli Hot Black Suede Sandals, £48 at Office.
While I’m not doing the work that I’m meant to be doing I’ve been thinking about my summer wardrobe, and I realized that I don’t have any suitable footwear. I spent all of last summer wearing flats without socks which resulted in the most rancid smelling feet… THINGS WILL CHANGE FOR SUMMER 2012. Both of these sandals are great. Though I do wish that the Clarks ones didn’t have that black ropey stuff (like on espadrilles) around the platform. Otherwise they’d be perfect.
I scanned some photos from the Vogue that came out the month that I was born. Arthur Elgort’s photos of Christy Turlington here are so goddamn magical; the light, the setting, her expression… Though, I’d be smiling like a pinhead if I was chilling with zebras.
I remember in year 7 all the cool guys in the year used to wear a bracelet made from this industrial/nautical type rope. But what a genius Genger and Mayer were to luxify (mmm I made that word up) them. They work so well and look so, so pretty.

Big news!
Raf Simons is to replace John Galliano at Dior. I wonder how his generally minimalist designs will affect Dior… he’s also never done haute couture.
